Receiver Terrell Sinkfield Jr. re-signs with CFL's Hamilton Tiger-Cats

HAMILTON — The Hamilton Tiger-Cats re-signed American receiver Terrell Sinkfield Jr. on Thursday.

Sinkfield Jr., 27, played defensive back with the NFL's Oakland Raiders (2018), New York Jets (2017-18) and Minnesota Vikings (2017). Before that, he spent time in the CFL with the Toronto Argonauts (2014), Hamilton (2014-15) and B.C. Lions (2016).

Sinkfield Jr. appeared in 34 career CFL games, registering 102 receptions for 1,537 yards and 10 TDs. He also ran 44 times for 296 yards while recording 26 punt returns for 369 yards and one touchdown, and 31 kickoff returns for 693 yards.

Sinkfield Jr.'s best CFL season was 2015 with Hamilton when he posted 69 receptions for 1,030 yards and six touchdowns. He also ran 28 times for 132 yards and had eight punt returns for 115 yards and six kickoff returns for 122 yards.

Prior to playing in the CFL, Sinkfield Jr. also spent time as a receiver with the Vikings (2016), New York Giants (2013), Buffalo Bills (2013), Green Bay Packers (2013) and Miami Dolphins (2013).
