Last week, we will started introducing you to our BarrieToday news team as well as other reporters from around the region whose bylines often appear in your news feed.

We brought you the story of Shawn Gibson, BarrieToday's longest-tenured reporter. The Rexdale native says he has always been intrigued by the news and gathering together all the facts.

We profiled OrilliaMatters reporter Nathan Taylor. During high school, he was always interested in pursuing a career in law. That was until he landed a co-op at his hometown newspaper. From there, Nathan caught the news bug and hasn't looked back.
