The Barrie Baycats 16U AAA Elite team recently won the PastTime Tournaments Mid America Prospect Games in Ann Arbour, Mich.
The events were hosted at the University of Michigan Baseball Stadium Aug. 1-4, 2019.
The BMBA Baycats went undefeated with a 6-0-1 record.
The team took on the All American Muracos 16U AAA from Pittsburgh in a tight final. The game was recorded as a no hitter thrown by Barrie pitcher Graham Sim.
Tight defensive play along with aggressive base running lead the team to a 2-0 championship victory.
Great to see Canadian teams showcase talent south of the border!
