Baycats pick up all the runs they needed in two innings

The Barrie Baycats scored all of their runs in two innings to hand the London Majors a 9-5 defeat Sunday afternoon at Labatt Park. 

Barrie (11-2) broke open a scoreless game with four runs in the third and five in the fourth. 

Jordan Castaldo hit his sixth home run of the season and drove in five. Conner Morro and Parker Walker each drove in a run and scored twice, Jeff Cowan singled twice and scored twice, Kevin Atkinson and Starlin Rodriguez each had an RBI, and Ryan Spataro singled and doubled. 

Adrian Salcedo (4-0) went seven innings for the win, allowing two runs on five hits with five strikeouts. 

For London (6-10), Steve Froese went 3-for-4 with a run, Jonathan Thibodeau had two hits and an RBI, while Jonathan Duforest, Carlos Arteaga and Evan Britt each drove in a run.

Owen Boon (1-1) took the loss, giving up seven runs on seven hits over three innings. He walked three and struck out one.
