The Barrie Baycats sent 12 batters to the plate and scored six runs in a bat-around seventh inning that made the difference in a 12-6 win Thursday night at home against Toronto.

Branfy Infante had the inning's key hit, a bases-loaded double that gave the Baycats a five-run lead at the time.

Jake Wilson went 4-for-6 with a home run, three RBI and three runs, Ryan Rijo doubled twice and had an RBI and a run, Jeff Cowan had two hits and scored three times, Avery Tuck and Owen Jansen each had an RBI and scored, and Mike Cecchetto doubled twice and added an RBI.

Brad Grieveson (2-2) threw 2.1 hitless innings of relief for the win, striking out four without issuing a walk. Starter Marshall Leishman allowed six runs on 10 hits in 5.2 innings. He walked three and whiffed four.

Adam Marra (0-1) took the loss for Toronto. Marra was touched for three runs on four hits with two walks and a strikeout in 1.1 innings. He took over from Andrew Hyde, who lasted five innings and gave up five runs (four earned) on eight hits with two walks and a strikeout.

Offensively, Garret Takamatsu went 2-for-5 with his sixth home run, droving in three. Sean Reilly singled, doubled and drove in a run, while Marcus Knecht and

Dan Marra each added a hit and an RBI.

Barrie improved to 7-10, and Toronto fell to 7-7.
