The Barrie Canoe and Kayak Club is excited to announce it is hosting the World Tour Paddling Film Festival again this year.

The World Tour is celebrating its 20th year of bringing award-winning films to communities around the globe.

The film festival features two hours of the very best paddling films, covering rafting, flat and white-water kayaking, canoeing, and stand-up paddle boarding.

When: Thursday, April 10 
Time: Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Films start at 7 p.m. 
Where: Southshore Community Centre, 205 Lakeshore Dr., Barrie
Cost: $15 in advance, $20 at the door.

Popcorn and drinks available for purchase.

The Barrie Canoe and Kayak Club was established in 1977 and includes 350 paddlers who enjoy canoeing, kayaking, and stand-up paddling.

The club’s mandate is to unite paddlers for the protection of their interests, the improvement of their paddling skills, and the promotion of all aspects of paddle related activities.

BCKC is located at the Barrie Southshore Community Centre, 205 Lakeshore Dr., Barrie.
