If you walked past the pavilion at Little Lake Park on Friday mornings over the summer, you would have seen it  filled with local yogis seeking some tranquility to jump start their weekend. However, thanks to the generosity of Lisa O’Driscoll from The Yoga House, this community was given more than just a beautiful setting to practice yoga, they were given a reason to be hopeful.

As a community they gathered for three very important causes, to support those facing cancer, to support abused or homeless women and their children, and to support youth, adults and seniors faced with mental illness right here in our region.

All of the proceeds from Yoga in the Park were donated to The Georgian Bay Cancer Support Centre, Operation Grow and Waypoint. Thank you to everyone who came out on Friday mornings and thank you Lisa O’Driscoll and The Yoga House for this incredible gift. Hope lives as good things happen here.
