Witnesses help point out driver after car runs into pole

Said car is now impounded, while said driver's licence has been suspended for 90 days

Impaired Driving Collision

BRADFORD — On Tuesday, June 14, 2016, just after 2:30 a.m., South Simcoe Police were called to the corner of Holland Street West and Langford Boulevard in Bradford.

When officers arrived on scene, they found a grey Honda Civic that had struck a pole.

With the assistance of witnesses, a man was identified as the driver of the vehicle and arrested.

After testing at the station, the 42 year old Bradford man has been charged with Impaired Driving and Drive Over 80 mgs. He will appear in court later this month. 

His car has been impounded and his driver's licence suspended for 90 days.

The assistance of the public is essential in out efforts to reduce impaired driving. If you see a someone driving, and you think they are driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, call 9-1-1 immediately.
