Wilma Wilson has had an admiration for firefighters since she was a little girl and recently, through Amica Mature Lifestyles Dream to Do program, she was able to experience life as a firefighter.
Wilma was picked up by Barrie Fire Service in a fire truck from her Amica residence and driven down to the fire station. At the station, she was given a tour of the museum and communications room, met two fire chiefs and had her very own photo shoot, getting to try on a fire jacket and test out the water hose.
The photos were taken by a professional photographer hired by Amica and they will be creating her very own firefighter calendar out of the photos.
