Will your school be on the list?

The Simcoe County District School Board is waiting to hear how much money will be heading this way after an announcement on Monday

The provincial government has announced $474 million in 2016 for 28 new schools, and 23 renovation projects, but the Simcoe County District School Board is still waiting for details of any funding heading its way.

More information is expected in the next few days.

Banting Memorial High School in Alliston is the only replacement school project that the SCDSB applied for this year, and the following is the list of projects that are waiting for provincial funding:

  • Minesing Central Public School - growth accommodation
  • Stayner Collegiate Institute/Clearview Meadows Elementary - addition/renovation
  • Cameron Street Public School - addition/renovation
  • W.R. Best Public School - addition
  • Bradford District High School - addition
  • New Bradford Elementary School - growth accommodation
