#BarrieRec registered & drop-in programs are cancelled for the remainder of the day (Feb 28). Fitness centres are closed. Facilities remain open.

Due to road closures on many routes, and recommendations from the OPP to stay off roads today, many County of Simcoe offices and locations are closes and services are interrupted:
- Essential 24/7 services such as Paramedic Services, Plows and Long-term Care remain open
- Waste Collection for Feb. 28 has been cancelled in Wasaga Beach, Clearview and Springwater. Please brings items in from the road. Some crews are still out in Adjala-Tosorontio. Crews will try to return to these areas again on Saturday, February 29 (weather and conditions permitting) as early as 6 a.m. Please download the Simcoe County Collects app for updates. - County Landfill and Transfer Sites are closed
- LINX Transit routes are operating today, but behind schedule - please view the Transit app for up to date route information
The following offices/locations are closed:

- Museum
- Archives
- Many OW Offices including Midland, Collingwood, Alliston and Bradford (Barrie and Orillia remain open with reduced staffing levels)
- Landfills/transfer stations
Please note that the NVCA Office will be closed on Friday, Feb. 28, 2020, due to weather conditions. The office will reopen on Monday, March 2, 2020. NVCA's Feb. 28 Board Meeting is also cancelled. The meeting date will be announced as soon as possible
Springwater Township Administration Centre and all branches of the Springwater Library are closed today due to the weather and road conditions.
