The first-ever South Simcoe Talent Show, sponsored by the Tec-We-Gwill Women’s Institute, was held this spring and was so successful that they’ve decided to do it again.

That first show, held April 6, filled the Newton Robinson Hall to capacity, as the community came out to see and hear the talented singers, musicians and other performers that call South Simcoe their home.

Now the call has gone out again, looking for entertaining acts – musicians, singers, dancers, actors, poets, comedians, magicians, jugglers, all from South Simcoe – interested in performing at the Tec-We-Gwill WI Hall in Newton Robinson on Nov. 9.

There will be an open rehearsal on Saturday, Oct. 19 from 1-5 p.m. at the hall for all of those interested in performing.

For more information, or to book a rehearsal time, contact Mark Burchell, at 705-458- 8964 or [email protected].

The Newton Robinson Hall is located at 4380 Line 10 BWG in Newton Robinson, and is accessible.
