On Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at 3:30 a.m. police were on general patrol in the downtown Dunlop Street area, in the City of Barrie.

The officer noticed a vehicle driving westbound on Dunlop Street West at a very low rate of speed.

The vehicle was observed pulling into Crossovers Adult Entertainment Lounge, located at 428 Dunlop Street West where the officer initiated the vehicle stop.

The officer immediately detected the female driver was under the influence of alcohol and his observations were confirmed when she failed the roadside test.

The 19-year-old Wasaga Beach female was arrested and taken back to the Barrie Police Service for further testing where she blew over double the legal limit.

Her car was towed to be impounded for seven days, her license suspended for 90 days and she spent the rest of the night in a cell until sober.

She was released in the morning on a Promise to Appear with a future court date in February.
