Barrie Police are tallying the damages after a pool was vandalized and windows smashed in a vandalism spree early Sunday morning

Police were called to a condo building on Ellen St. just after 2 a.m.

"Security at Ellen Street gave a description and a direction of travel and police were able to locate two males. They arrested two 20-year-old Barrie males.  They were charged with mischief and released," said Barrie Police Const. Nicole Rodgers.

Windows were smashed around the pool area of the condo building and chairs were thrown into the pool, Rodgers said. Some cars in the Ellen St. parking lot had windows broken along with windows at the security kiosk. The spree also targeted the RBC at 11 Victoria Street where the front windows were smashed.

Police say more charges could be pending now that the full extent of the damage is known.

Further details will be released Tuesday, according to Rodgers, including a dollar estimate of damage.
