To honour International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia, and Biphobia (IDAHOTB), TransQ is hosting a flag raising and walk. 2SLGBTQ+ community members and allies alike are invited to join the walk in solidarity, unity, and understanding.

When: May 17, 2019
Time: 4:00 PM for raising of the Trans and Pride flag; 4:30 for the walk
Where: Barrie City Hall (70 Collier Street)

“We hope this will start a tradition of our community coming together against the discrimination we see in our everyday lives,” said Caleb Kenehan, one of the organizers and ground facilitators. “Homophobia, Transphobia, and Biphobia are still far too common in Simcoe County. So we want it to be clear that as members of this community, we are united and will be there for each other."
