BRADFORD - On Tuesday, July 5, 2016, just after 11 p.m., a South Simcoe Police sergeant stopped a car on the 8th Line for a traffic offence. When he approached the car, he noted the smell of marijuana.

Upon request, the driver produced a plastic bag and handed the drugs to the officer, later weighed at 55 grams.

A subsequent search of the vehicle located a large quantity of cash in small bills which had be secreted inside the console.

A 32-year-old Bradford man has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking (marijuana). He will appear in court in August.
