ORILLIA - Over the weekend, the Orillia Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received 104 calls for service.

Police responded to calls received from Severn Township, Ramara Township, and the City of Orillia.

The time frame is from Friday night at 6 p.m. until Monday morning at 6 a.m.

There were various calls for service consisting of noise complaints, alarms, 911 hang-ups, domestic/family disputes, Liquor Licence Act complaints, mischief complaints, motor vehicle collisions and impaired drivers.

On April 3, 2016, at approximately 9:30 p.m., officers from the Orillia OPP conducted a routine traffic stop on Lawson Avenue in the City of Orillia.

The driver of the vehicle was arrested at the scene.

Paul Scandrett, 60 years old of Severn Township, has been charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and failing to comply with an undertaking.

He was held for a bail hearing in Orillia court on April 4, 2016.
