A well-travelled road that acts as a main entry point into the city from the west end will be closed later this week.
Tectonic Infrastructure and its sub-contractors working for the City of Barrie require a full road closure of Tiffin Street between Dyment Road and Anne Street South.
The closure is required to perform road resurfacing works associated with the city's Tiffin Street Watermain Project.
The work is scheduled to be from 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 1 until noon on Friday, June 2.
Access for residents within the closure is to be maintained, and emergency services will have access to respond within the closure, but not to travel through it.
Detour route in effect: Tiffin Street - Dyment Road - John Street - Anne Street South - Tiffin Street.
