Three males arrested in relation to May 21 fatal Wasaga Beach stabbing

(WASAGA BEACH, ON) – The OPP is continuing the investigation into the death of an 18-year old male after an altercation on Saturday May 21, 2016 in the Town of Wasaga Beach. 

This investigation, which is being conducted under the direction of Detective Inspector Andy Raffay of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB)‎ and by Detectives from the Central Region Crime Unit and the Regional Support Team (RST) has culminated in the arrest of three people. 

Overnight, OPP Detectives were assisted by the Durham Regional Police Service Tactical Team along with their Guns and Gangs Unit and as a result, Police have charged the following males with “Second Degree Murder”:

  • Johnathan D. Landsberg; 18-years old, Whitby, Ontario
  • Eric R. Talbot; 19-years old, Pickering, Ontario.
  • Austin D. Zambrano-Peterson; 18-years old, North York, Ontario‎.

The three males have been charged in relation to the death of Francesco Molinaro and are scheduled to appear today (June 4, 2016) at the Ontario Court of Justice located in Newmarket.
