Three arrested after St. Vincent Street drug raid

An investigation led police to believe that several parties had been trafficking drugs, and on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 members of the Barrie Police Street Crime and CERT Unit executed a search warrant at a residence on St. Vincent Street, in the City of Barrie.

As a result of the search warrant police arrested and charged three people residing at the residence. 

Numerous prescription drugs, as well as 3 grams of heroin and 8 grams of marijuana were seized.

Charged is:

  • A 19-year-old male - Possession of a controlled substance x3 and possession for the purpose of trafficking x2. He will appear in bail court Thursday morning.
  • An 18-year-old female - Possession of a controlled substance x4. She was released on a promise to appear and will appear in a Barrie court in April.
  • A 51-year-old female - Possession of a controlled substance and breach of probation x2. She was released on a promise to appear and will appear in a Barrie court in April.
