On Saturday Feb. 18, 2017, the Orillia Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a sudden death on Elgin Street in the City of Orillia.
The Orillia OPP Crime Unit, under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) Detective Inspector Peter Donnelly is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding this death.
A postmortem examination will be conducted at the Office of the Chief Coroner and Ontario Forensic Pathology Services (OCC-OFPS) in Toronto at a later date.
