'Staff shaken up' after car goes through Collingwood storefront

The car went through the window in the cash register area

A car drove through the storefront window into the checkout area of Shoppers Drug Mart in Collingwood today.

Store owner Mark Matthews said nobody was hurt, but a few staff were "shaken up" by the ordeal.

The store is currently closed, and Matthews expects it will be closed for the remainder of the day, though said it's possible the window could be repaired in time for the store to be open later this evening.

The vehicle went through the window around noon today.
