Our Festive RIDE campaign is continuing day and night. Here is a snapshot from a number of locations on Thursday, Dec. 13, 2018.

Vehicles stopped - 936

 Tests - 28

Cannabis PON - 3

 3 day suspensions - 2

Over 80 arrest - A 24-year-old Bradford man charged after being stopped at a RIDE check.

Dangerous driving/impaired driving/over 80 - A 29-year-old Waterloo man charged after officer stops vehicle travelling 95 km/h in a 50 km/h zone.

Stunt driving /speeding - A 19-year-old Newmarket woman charged after officer stops vehicle travelling 117 km/h in 50 km/h zone.

Warn range suspension issued after man drives into RIDE stop with open liquor in vehicle.

South Simcoe Police Service will continue our enhanced RIDE Program throughout the holiday season. Names of those charged with impaired driving will be published on our website every Monday.
