Some jerk smashed 74 windows at an elementary school

TOWN OF NEW TECUMSETH -  At approximately 7 a.m., on Thursday, Sept. 22, 2016, members of the Nottawasaga Detachment, Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received information that several windows had been smashed at the Tecumseth Beeton Elementary School, located on Patterson Street, Beeton.

It was reported that the damage occurred between 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 21, and 7 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 22, 2016. There were 74 windows, along the east side and the north side of the building, that were smashed.

A spokesperson for The Simcoe County District School Board has advised that the initial estimate of damage is approximately $20,000.
