A portion of Anne Street South is closed today for emergency underground repairs.
The City of Barrie's water department and its sub-contractors require a full road closure between Essa Road and Centre Street tentatively from 8:45 a.m. until 4 p.m. to repair a water main.
Access for residents within the closure to be maintained and emergency services will have access to respond within the closure and travel through it.
The roadway closed to buses.
Detour route in effect: Anne Street South – Tiffin Street – Innisfil Street – Essa Road – Anne Street South
