ORILLIA – The Orillia Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has executed a search warrant in the City of Orillia.

On February 03, 2016 at approximately 7:30 p.m., members of the Community Drug Action Team (CDAT), in conjunction with the Central Region Canine Unit, Orillia Detachment Street Crime Unit, members of the Foot Patrol Strategy, and the Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) executed a search warrant at a residence on Parkview Avenue in the City of Orillia.

During the execution of the search warrant police located and seized a quantity of Cannabis Marijuana.

Christopher Salt, 58 years old of Orillia, has been charged with Possession of Cannabis Marijuana for the Purpose of Trafficking, and Possession of Cannabis Marijuana.

Eric Forde, 62 years old of Orillia, has been charged with Possession of Cannabis Marijuana for the Purpose of Trafficking, and Possession of Cannabis Marijuana.

Both parties were released on a Promise to appear in Orillia court on March 15, 2016.
