NEWS RELEASE
ROYAL VICTORIA REGIONAL HEALTH CENTRE
*************************
Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre is recruiting for its Board of Directors to help guide RVH into its bold, exciting future.

RVH, a dynamic, growing health centre, recruits candidates who are strongly committed to the RVH vision, mission and values, have strong personal and professional integrity, and have experience in a governance leadership oversight role. In a time of fiscal constraint, combined with ongoing population growth and increasing demand for healthcare services, governance leadership can be both challenging and rewarding.

Directors are accountable for the monitoring and oversight of the health centre’s performance goals, ensuring financial accountability, providing feedback and guidance to the CEO, and serve as a link between the health centre and the communities RVH serves.

Most board and committee meetings are scheduled for late afternoons, approximately one to three times per month, as well as orientation and board meeting preparation time. In the event of meetings called on short notice, a flexible schedule for potential board members is an asset.

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and must reside or work in the North Simcoe Muskoka Local Health Integration Network (NSM LHIN) area. Candidates are not eligible if they are an RVH employee, a member of the professional staff, an independent contractor for RVH or a family member of a person referenced herein.

To apply for the RVH Board of Directors position, submit cover letter and resume to Nicola Charity, Senior Assistant Board of Directors at [email protected].  Further information is provided on the RVH website
