The Barrie Police Street Crime Unit have arrested a 50-year-old Barrie male responsible for the robbery on Friday October, 9, 2015, at the TD Bank on Collier Street.
The male was located at an address on Peel Street in Barrie, thanks to a tip from the public.
The male has also been identified by Orillia O.P.P as the suspect wanted in the PD Murphy Jewelers robbery in Orillia on the same day shortly after 3 p.m.
Barrie Police have charged the male with robbery with a firearm, and he will be appearing in bail court on Wednesday October 14, 2015.

Barrie Police Criminal Investigative Bureau is currently investigating a Bank Robbery that occurred this morning, Friday, October 9, 2015 at 9:30 a.m.
The TD Canada Trust Branch located on Collier Street in Barrie's downtown was targeted by a male white in his 50's, 5'10" tall, with long grey hair and scruffy appearance.
He was wearing a black jacket, black toque, black shoes and black sunglasses. He approached the wicket and showed the teller a note indicating he was in possession of a gun and wanted money.
While no firearm was seen, the suspect did flee the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Bank security surveillance turned up numerous images of the suspect three of which are attached .
There were no injuries in this occurrence.
