The Simcoe County District School Board (SCDSB)’s food service provider Chartwells School Dining has partnered with celebrity Chef Corbin Tomaszeski to bring new menu items to local high school cafeterias.

On Apr. 21 at 11 a.m., Nantyr Shoes Secondary School will host an event with Chartwells and Chef Corbin to introduce student-created recipes to be served in SCDSB cafeterias.

Hospitality and Culinary Arts classes from SCDSB high schools were invited to create and submit a healthy pasta recipe that will be judged by Chef Corbin. The taste test event will ensure the final recipes meet Chartwells’ standards, taste great and reflect the views of students.

Media are invited to join students and staff to sample the new exclusive recipes, take photos and interview Chef Corbin.

Chef Corbin Tomaszeski is a celebrity chef and host of Food Network Canada’s popular shows Dinner Party Wars, Restaurant Makeover, Restaurant Takeover and Crash My Kitchen.

Nantyr Shores Secondary School is located at 1146 Anna Maria Avenue in Innisfil.
