There were no major incidents in Barrie on Halloween night.

"It was relatively quiet for a Halloween night" said Const. Sarah Bamford. "We only had 176 calls throughout the whole day."

Around 7 p.m. Barrie Fire tweeted that fire crews were called out to a possible house fire at Essa and Mapleview.

Turns out it was a smoke machine, designed to add ambiance and not a real fire.
