On Wednesday, March 16, 2016, two suspects, a man and women broke into a vehicle that had been parked in the Holly Recreation Centre parking lot.

The suspect(s) smashed the window of the vehicle, and stole a purse from within.

The two suspects used the credit cards, stolen from the purse shortly after the incident at Mac's Convenience, located at Dunlop Street East and Mulcaster Street, in the City of Barrie.

Later that day, just after 9:30 p.m. another purchase was attempted using the same cards at the Stag Shop located on Bayfield Street. 

The purchase was declined, as the cards had already been cancelled.
