Psychic Fair to awaken mind, body

It's a great way to look into the future, or get in touch with loved ones from the past, says organizer

Barrie residents who wish to see past what they see in the physical world had best circle Sunday, Jan. 14 on their calendars for the Barrie Body and Mind Psychic Fair. It’s a way of giving the New Year some pep by seeing what 2018 has in store.

Lynn Anne Hill heads Events by L.A., organizer of the event, and she tells BarrieToday the first challenge is to cut through some of the anxiety and fear with which people may come into the Lions Gate Banquet Hall on Blake Street.

“They are nervous as they do not know what to expect and are fearful of a 'bad news' reading.”

Hill says the fairs like hers draw as well as they do, “because the atmosphere is highly positive and exciting, and only gifted and empathetic readers participate.”

She goes on to say Readings are one-on-one encounters – as if with a friend – offered in 15- to 30-minute blocks.

As well, 16 leading Readers including Psychic-Intuitives, Mediums, Astrologers and Palm Readers, will be participating to tap into the other side to connect visitors with messages from their loved ones, as well as to offer such services as intuitive Oracle, Tarot and Angel card readings, astrology readings, energy healing, animal communication, Akashic Record readings and clearings.

Hill also says visitors enjoy intuitive art readings, “empowerment cards” and gemstone jewellery, energy healings and computerized palm readings.

But to look to the future, sometimes it’s helpful to get in touch those who have departed this life.

“Many visitors have just lost a loved one,” asserts Hill, “are struggling with a decision or direction, are worried about their health, or are seeking their soul mate. They really want to hear that their loved ones have moved on peacefully, and if they will obtain employment and/or meet the partner of their dreams.”

So, mediums will be on hand at the Psychic Fair to channel Spirit to offer messages for healing and closure – some even channelling our animal friends who have moved on after a lifetime of love and devotion.

But, at the end of the day, says Hill, it’s all about “wellness of mind and body to help visitors approach their new year with a positive focus.”

The Barrie Body and Mind Psychic Fair is being held Sunday, Jan. 14 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and admission is free. To learn more, click here.
