Barrie Police have identified two suspects wanted in connection with the thefts of three poppy donation boxes.

Police say all the thefts occurred on Nov. 10 at two Tim Horton's locations on Essa Road and another on Sarjeant Drive.

One of the suspects is an adult male, aged 19-years-old of Barrie and the other is a male young offender, aged 17-years-old of Barrie.

"It's unknown how much money was in each," said Barrie Police Const. Nicole Rodgers.

Police in part are crediting tips from social media for helping the investigation after detectives released surveillance camera images of two wanted individuals.

Rodgers says arrest warrants are being sworn for the two suspects today.
