Police trying to ID suspect after ATM theft

Investigators have received video surveillance and are seeking public assistance in identifying a suspect following a theft from an ATM, located at the Bank of Montreal (BMO) on Mapleview Drive, West in the City of Barrie.

On Thursday, October, 22, 2015, at 6:48 p.m. the suspect made two withdrawals using a debit card that had been left in an ATM drive-thru. 

Video surveillance captured him leaving the area in a 4-door Honda.

The investigation is ongoing.

Suspect is described as:

  • Male, white
  • Wearing a light coloured Pittsburgh Steelers hoodie.
