Police seeking suspect in attack on youth

Further information from investigators leads police to believe the suspect departed the scene and was last seen walking up Carley Crescent from Ester Drive, in the City of Barrie.

Suspect Description:   

  • Male white
  • Mid 20s
  • 6’1-6”2”, thin build
  • Short reddish brown hair

Wearing:

  • Grey shirt 
  • Blue jeans
  • White running shoes

On Wednesday, May, 11 2016, just before 9:00 p.m. three youths were walking in the area of Esther Drive and Raquel Street, in the City of Barrie.

A male believed to be in his late teens to early twenties grabbed one of the youths and assaulted him, leaving him with minor head and facial injuries. The youth was treated and released from hospital. It is unknown what provoked the incident and police are continuing the investigation.
