ORILLIA, ON - The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is currently investigating a robbery at an Orillia jewellery store.
On October 9, 2015 at approximately 1:51p.m., the Orillia OPP responded to a hold up alarm at P D Murphy Jewellery on Mississaga Street East.
On arrival officers were advised that a lone male had just fled the store with a quantity of rings.
The suspect informed the employee that he had a gun in his backpack but it was not displayed.
No one at the store was injured.
Police are looking for an Orange/Red Honda Element in connection with the robbery.
