Police have identified the male caught on video surveillance.
The investigation is ongoing and charges have not yet been determined.

Upon receiving video surveillance and speaking with several witnesses, the Barrie Police is seeking the public’s assistance with identifying a person of interest, following the theft of eight tablets at The Brick, located at 52 Caplan Avenue, in the City of Barrie.
On Friday, October 23, 2015 video surveillance captured a male entering the store on numerous occasions throughout the day.
Upon entering the store each time, the male had been seen in the area of where the Tablets had been displayed.

Police are reminding business owners of the importance of maintaining and updating video surveillance equipment.
Quality images help to identify suspects, and can aid in the arrests of suspects and have a tremendous impact during court proceedings.
