Barrie Police are currently looking for two suspects in relation to an attempt fraud that occurred with a stolen credit card.

On Friday, August 26, 2016 at approximately 10:30 a.m., two males entered the Walmart located at 35 Mapleview Drive West, in the City of Barrie, and approached the jewelry counter.

One male selected a gold chain wanting to use a credit card to purchase it. 

Immediately upon the transaction being processed a shirt and six VISA gift cards were added to the purchase. 

The transaction went through but upon reviewing the signature, the employee questioned the male for more identification. 

The suspect stated he left his wallet in the car and both males fled the store without the credit card or any merchandise.

Further investigation revealed the credit card had been stolen.

    •    Male, black
    •    18-20 years old
    •    140-160lbs, thin build
    •    5'8"-6'
    •    Short black hair in pig tails
    •    Wearing dark blue long sleeve shirt with unknown logo on front left chest, black jeans and black running shoes

    •    Male, black
    •    18-20 years old
    •    140-160lbs, thin build
    •    5'8"-6'
    •    Short black hair
    •    Wearing a black New York Yankees Baseball cap, black t-shirt, black jeans and black running shoes with grey lining the outside sole
