Police responded to a motor vehicle collision (MVC) in the back parking lot of Shoppers Home Health Care located at 524 Bayfield Street, in the City of Barrie, on Thursday morning just before 10:30 a.m.
The vehicle driven by an 86-year-old male from Tiny Township struck the building as a result of his foot slipping off the brake and hitting the accelerator.
There were no injuries reported, although the building did sustained structural damage.
The investigation is continuing.
