Police say driver showed obvious signs of impairment

On Wednesday, October 28, 2015, shortly after midnight, police were called to the intersection of Lampman Lane and Leacock Drive, in the City of Barrie, for an impaired driver.

Upon arrival police located the stopped vehicle with a female driver inside.

The female had obvious signs of alcohol impairment and was immediately arrested for impaired.

The female was transported to the Barrie Police station, where she provided breath samples.

Further investigation determined she was two times over the legal limit and was further charged with over 80mgs.

The 37-year-old, Barrie female received a 90-day licence suspension and a 7-day vehicle impoundment.

She will appear in a Barrie Court in November.
