BARRIE POLICE SERVICE

*************************
On Tuesday December 1, 2015 just after 1 a.m., police observed a vehicle swerving while heading westbound on Edgehill Drive, in the City of Barrie.

Police were able to stop the vehicle safely and speak with the driver.

The driver denied consuming any alcohol and did not see anything wrong with the way he had been driving.

Efforts made to mislead police were kiboshed and the 37-year-old Barrie male was arrested for impaired driving.

He was transported the Barrie Police Station where he provided breath samples and further charged with over 80.

The male now faces a 90 day licence suspension and a 7 day vehicle impoundment.

He will appear in a Barrie Court in December.
