Police looking for carpenter, possible witness to '80s crime in Blue Mountains area

Police are asking for the public's assistance in locating a possible witness in an ongoing criminal investigation pertaining to incidents that date back from 1982 to 1983 and occurred in the Blue Mountains area

Police are asking for the public's assistance in locating a possible witness in an ongoing criminal investigation pertaining to incidents that date back from 1982 to 1983 and occurred in the Blue Mountains area.

Police wish to speak with Steve MONTGOMERY (current age is estimated between 65 and 75 years old). Police believe that in the early 1980s, Mr. Montgomery may have resided in the area of Thornbury/Meaford. During this time, Mr. Montgomery worked as a carpenter/woodworker; he constructed custom interiors for sailboats and may have sold custom wood pieces in the area.
