City police told BarrieToday at 9:25 p.m. that "there are no further updates at this time as the investigation remains ongoing."

Barrie police are investigating a "serious incident" near Bear Creek Secondary School in the city's south end.
Peter Leon, with the Barrie police communications department, told BarrieToday it's still too early to release many details.
“Police are presently investigating what appears to be a serious incident that occurred before 3 p.m. this afternoon in a wooded area behind a local high school,” Leon said.
“Details will be provided only as the investigation permits," he said. "The investigation is active and ongoing at this time.”
