TOWNSHIP OF ADJALA-TOSORONTIO – On Monday, 11 July 2016, the Nottawasaga Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), received a report of a dog being stolen from the driveway of a residence located on Concession 2, of the Adjala portion of Adjala-Tosorontio Township.

John Walters, reports that at approximately 8:15 p.m., he was working outside at his residence, when he observed a black coloured compact pick-up truck, similar to a Ford Ranger or Mazda B2000, older model with tinted windows, pulled over at the end of his driveway.

He heard the slamming of a vehicle door, and the vehicle then took off southbound.

It was then he noticed that his 13-year-old miniature poodle was missing from the end of his driveway. 

The poodle, which responds to the name “Casper”, is described as being very small, approximately 10 lbs, beige fur, with black spots on its belly. It is tattooed on its ear and wearing a black collar with identification tags.
