Barrie Police responded to a public complaint regarding a possible impaired in the area of Grove Street East.
Police attended the area and located the suspect vehicle with a 33-year-old male driver.
After speaking with the driver police determined he was impaired by alcohol.
He was arrested and transported to the Barrie Police Station to provide breath samples.
After the breath tests the Barrie resident was released with a future court date and charged with impaired care and control and over 80mgs.
