ORILLIA – The Orillia Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has executed a search warrant in Severn Township.

On February 12, 2016 at approximately 2:15 p.m., members of the OPP Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU), in conjunction with the Community Drug Action Team (CDAT), Orillia OPP Street Crime Unit, and Central Emergency Response Team (ERT), executed a search warrant at a residence on Brady Drive in Severn Township.

During the execution of the search warrant police located and dismantled an indoor cannabis marijuana grow operation.

Ivan Donkov, 55 years old of Port Sydney, has been charged with Cultivation of Cannabis Marijuana, Possession of Cannabis Marijuana for the Purpose of Trafficking, and Possession of Cannabis Marijuana.

Ismailov Pizhev, 33 years old of Toronto, has been charged with Cultivation of Cannabis Marijuana, Possession of Cannabis Marijuana for the Purpose of Trafficking, and Possession of Cannabis Marijuana.

Both parties were released on a Promise to appear in Orillia court on March 29, 2016.
