Polar Plunge raises a cool $11,000

On Saturday, March 2, members of the Barrie Police Service joined residents to take an icy plunge for the annual Polar Plunge, in support of Special Olympics Ontario.

The event at Centennial Beach included 39 brave plungers of all ages.

This year, $11,255 was raised and all of it will directly benefit the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Ontario.
