Exams are underway today to Feb. 3 and the Simcoe County District School Board has a plan in place in the event of weather-related bus cancellations during exams.
- If buses are cancelled on an evaluation day, the schedule will shift forward one day.
- If buses are cancelled twice, Feb. 4 will become an evaluation day. Day 4 evaluations will be held in the morning and Day 5 evaluations in the afternoon.
- If buses are cancelled three times, Feb. 5 will become an evaluation day and the PA Day will be rescheduled for Monday, Feb. 8.
- Only schools in the Bus Zone(s) with cancellations will have evaluation schedule changes. Schools in zones without cancellations will run evaluations as planned.
- For schools with a five-period day, schedules will be adjusted on a case-by-case basis in situations where students have more than one evaluation in a day.
The school board says this information has been shared with students through their school.
