A duckling wandering on First Street in Collingwood will be splish-splashing away at a new home thanks to Collingwood and The Blue Mountains OPP.

A pair of OPP officers spotted a small duckling trying to cross First Street earlier today, and stopped traffic to collect the fluffy feathered youngling.

The OPP tried to locate the mama duck, but couldn't find her.

One of the officers at the Collingwood detachment has a farm and ducks already living there, so the duckling will join the flock there.
