Our thoughts are with those who lost loved ones and family members in this event today.
Obviously there is a lot that is unknown at this point regarding what transpired.
As the Member of Parliament where these events took place I would like to reinforce that Barrie is a safe and vibrant city.
These events have taken place just blocks from my family home and while they are disturbing they are not reflective of the city that we call home.
